I would say that Bulusan, Sorsogon would be the cherry on top for this trip. After coming from Matnog, we dumped our things at the health office in which our friend Kei is the municipal health officer. We then proceeded to Bayugin Falls, accompanied by Kuya Ricky. It is a 20 minute ride from the municipal health office and a short hike from the drop off point. Be careful of the steep and slippery trail because it is covered with moss.

Some parts of the trail aren't covered with moss |
...but the hike is worth it.
You might not get impressed by the falls because it is small but once you got to look around and took a dip at the spring, then you'll appreciate the unspoilt beauty of the place. There are picnic tables set up in the area but make sure to bring your own food as there are no stores within the vicinity of the falls.

The water was refreshing after that hike which left us sweaty. It was in the afternoon when we came in so there were not much people in the area. Most of the people in there were locals who wanted to enjoy the cool water of the spring.
Be careful, little boy! |
We swam for a couple of hours and then went back to our quarters to freshen up and rest. Had our dinner at Boracay Grill in the nearby Dancalan Beach and saw this guy with waxed moustache tips. I had to take a photo with him because it's not everyday that you get to see a waxed moustache tip. Hrhr.
